You can be next Miss Nottingham

WOMEN aged 17 to 24 will compete to become Miss Nottingham.

The winner will take the title from the reigning Miss Nottingham, Jessica Linley, who also won Miss England 2010.

Having represented her country in the 60th Miss World competition, Jess will be handing over her title to the next Miss Nottingham this spring.

The University of Nottingham law student was the first woman from Nottingham to win the national title since 1993, and travelled to China to take part in Miss World.

Entrants trying to take over her title have to be aged 17 to 24 as of December 21 this year and they must live, study or work within a 50-mile radius of Nottingham. Contestants must not be married, or have had a child.

Auditions are being held on Thursday, at the Pitcher & Piano pub in High Pavement, Nottingham city centre.

People should arrive at any time between 5.30pm and 9pm, wearing their own choice of smart or casual clothes.

There is a �15 audition fee which must be paid on the day. Entrants will receive a copy

of a photograph taken at the audition.
